Kawasaki isn’t showing any of its major new bikes just yet but these are the colours its carry-over models will be using next year.
Starting at the top of the range, Kawasaki promises ‘updated colour and graphic treatment’ for the H2R. It’s sister, the road-legal H2 Carbon, gains a dual-tone mirror spark black and matte spark black look.
KRT editions
The KRT editions of both the ZX-10R and Ninja 650 now reflect the latest WSB colours wile the ZZR1400 gains metallic carbon grey and emerald green paint. The ZZR1400 Performance Sport uses the same colours but in a more green-biased pattern.
Updated Z1000 R and Versys
Moving to naked models, the Z1000 R Edition gets new indicators and metallic matte grey and spark black paint. All three Versys 1000 variants have three different colour schemes. Metallic flat spark black with metallic spark black is one option, second is candy fire red combined with both blacks. There’s also a traditional lime green option.
Scooter changes
At the twist-and-go end of the range, the J300 gets new schemes of metallic black, flat black or gunmetal grey. The smaller J125 comes in flat anthracite black or matte gunmetal grey.
“This is a very busy time of the year for the Kawasaki factory”, said Morihiro Ikoma, Director of Kawasaki Motors Europe. “Not only are we preparing to unveil new models but our customer focus groups and dealer feedback is resulting in new colour options for carry over models. There is so much to take in we encourage riders to visit their local Kawasaki store as updates become available to view 2018 season models in the flesh.”
