Don’t expect to see this in your local Honda dealer any time soon but given the lack of exciting news from the world’s leading bike brand it’s one of the few things Honda has to draw attention to its EICMA stand in Milan,
Called the CB4, this concept bike designed by Honda’s European R&D arm is based on the CB650F chassis and engine but shows that the firm’s designers have the ability to turn out something far more eye-catching when there’s the need.
Twin, stacked exhausts on the right hand side and a single-sided swingarm borrowed from a VFR800 give the bike an Italianesque feel – it’s the sort of thing that could have come from any one of a number of boutique bike makers, particularly given the addition of parts like the aluminium, bar-end mirrors and stitched suede seat.
