BMW’s 17th Motorrad Days in Garmish-Partenkirchen is coming up fast. Due to take place from 7th to 9th July the firm says that it will be an opportunity to see the HP4 Race and that there ‘further surprises in store’.

While Motorrad Days is a weekend event including stunt shows, live music and more, the planned surprises are specifically in the ‘Motorshow and exhibition area’. As such, it could well be a hint that it will be the first chance to see some of the firm’s 2018 models. Although it’s unlikely that BMW will reveal any significant new machines at Motorrad Days, it could use the event to reveal minor updates or less important new 2018 machines.

Even if the ‘surprises’ don’t turn out to be new bikes, Motorrad Days has plenty to offer. Attractions include a drift show, stunt shows with Mattie Griffin and Sarah Lezito, and a wall of death. There’s also the Custom Village and the Pure and Crafted stage with live music.

BMW will also have experts on hand including designers, engineers and test riders, all there to talk to the public.

All this, and admission is free. Camping sites can be found nearby with pitches for €12, and tents can be hired for €25.
