The chances are that buyers of Victory’s Magnum X-1 aren’t shrinking violets that don’t want attention. It’s a bike that’s loud in every sense of the term but Victory has opted to dub the latest version the ‘Stealth Edition.’
The biggest noise about the Magnum X-1 has always been its stereo. A massive 200-watt, 10-speaker system, it’s going to turn heads regardless of the fact the ‘Stealth Edition’ has more subtle looks than its predecessor.
The bike’s grey paintwork is finished in a matt grey that Victory describes as a ‘suede monochrome’ that covers every inch of bodywork. Chrome is replaced with black on the engine, with the same finish on the frame and exhaust. The billet aluminium wheels are also black, with polished strips picking out the edges of the spokes.
LED headlights, claimed to be 74% brighter than standard bulbs, are also standard.
As with last year’s Magnum X-1, the stereo is the bike’s stand-out feature. With two 6×9 inch woofers and a pair of tweeters in the panniers plus six more speakers in the fairing, it’s the loudest that Victory offers. Bluetooth integration links it to your phone and an LCD in the dash tells you what’s playing.
The bike’s set to be available in March, with a price of £19,499 in the UK, €24,895 in Germany or $23,499 in America.
