Suzuki has had on-and-off plans for a GSX-R125 for the last decade and the bike has finally made it to production.
It’s adds a new entry-level machine to the firm’s sports bike range for the first time. Details about the bike are still sketchy, but it’s claimed to offer the best power to weight ratio in its class. It’s also claimed to beat its rivals in torque to weight ratio, giving better acceleration than any competitor.
The engine is a new 125cc single, but that’s all the information released about it so far. Other than that, tech info is limited to the fact there’s an LED headlight and LCD dash, plus Suzuki’s first keyless ignition system.
More information will come to light as the bike’s on-same date approaches, but it’s not due in dealers until late summer next year.
