Triumph has revealed that its new Bonneville Bobber and Street Scrambler models will go on sale in the UK on Thursday 23rd February.
Triumph dealers across the country will be holding launch evening events that day to unveil the bikes to potential customers.
The £10,500 Bonneville Bobber (see our road test here) and the £8900 Street Scrambler (tested here) both look set to be valuable additions to the burgeoning Bonneville range. The Bobber uses a special version of the 1200cc high-torque twin, tuned for low-down grunt, while the Street Scrambler gets the smaller 900cc version of the engine from the Street Twin.
The 23rd February launch event will also see the new-for-2017 T100 and T100 Black – 900cc versions of the existing 1200cc T120 – getting promoted. From spring 2017, both versions will also be offered with an optional A2 licence kit, letting riders with restricted licences use the bikes. The recently-launched Street Cup model will also be on show in dealers.
Paul Lilly, general manager of Triumph UK and Ireland, said: “There has been a great deal of anticipation around the bikes that we have recently introduced. They have been incredibly well received by the world’s media and the excitement among Triumph fans and riders in general has been building over the past few months. We are delighted to finally get the bikes into dealerships for everyone to see and recommend that people book their test rides as soon as they can.”
