Motorcycle Live is looking for the best of Britain’s handmade motorcycles. The four finalists will go on display at the event from 18-26 November.

The contest, called Motorcycle Live Ace Builds, is open to all exhibiting brands and models. The criteria are as follows: the bikes must be road-legal, they must be built in the UK, they must be one-offs and they must be owned by the entrant.

To enter the contest, submit a selection of high-res photos of the bike under the relevant manufacturer category at acebuilds.motorcyclelive.co.uk. You also need to include up to 200 words describing the bike and its modifications. You’ve got until 29 September, 2017 to enter.

A panel of experts including Motor Cycle News deputy editor Richard Newland, Built and Classic Bike editor Gary Pinchin and Bike Shed founder Anthony van Someren will whittle the entries down to a shortlist. A public vote will choose the four best machines, which get a place at Motorcycle Live. Their owners will each get four tickets to the show and £200-worth of Motolegends vouchers.

Showgoers will to decide the winner of the ‘Ultimate Ace Build’ prize, who gets a trophy, £1000 of vouchers and the chance for their bike to feature in a Motolegends catalogue.
