Can-Am’s 2027 refresh puts its most important updates into the Ryker lineup while applying softer cosmetic and tech tweaks across the rest of its three-wheeler range. The changes touch engines, chassis tuning and displays—alterations that affect ride feel and buyer choices for the coming model year.
Ryker overhaul: new engine and stiffer chassis
For 2027 the Ryker is offered in three manufacturer-defined packages: the entry-level standard, the higher-performance Sport, and a limited-run Special Series reserved for the 2027 model year. Each is aimed at a different kind of rider, from newcomers to enthusiasts seeking extra equipment.

The headline mechanical change is the introduction of a new three-cylinder powerplant. The standard Ryker replaces the outgoing 600cc twin with a 52-horsepower Rotax 900 ACE, which Can-Am says delivers stronger low-end torque with less vibration and quieter operation. The Sport and Special Series use an uprated version of that same engine, tuned to about 80 horsepower.
Can-Am also reinforced the Ryker’s underlying structure. The updates include a firmer chassis, a strengthened steering assembly, and a recalibrated Vehicle Stability System (VSS). The company cites refined aerodynamics as another contributor to improved handling across the range.
Inside the controls, every Ryker gains a new five-inch color display and revised handlebar switches to simplify adjustments while riding. Externally, the model year brings reshaped body panels, redesigned wheels and an updated LED headlight.
The 2027-only Ryker Special Series pairs the Sport’s performance with premium finishes and hardware. That package adds exclusive body panels and wrap options, Liquid Titanium wheel finishes, upgraded suspension parts, a unique seat treatment and an Akrapovič exhaust, according to Can-Am.
Spyder and Canyon: visual updates and added connectivity
Other three-wheel models see mainly cosmetic changes for 2027. The Spyder F3 cruiser and the Spyder RT Sea‑to‑Sky touring model receive a new Dolomite Gray colorway. The F3-S trim is available with a Liquid Titanium frame and Monolith Black Satin bodywork, giving it a darker, more premium look.
The Spyder RT Sea‑to‑Sky touring package gains practical upgrades too, including tire pressure monitoring, revised seat materials and branded front and rear travel bags. The Spyder Canyon adventure model picks up a new Sandstone paint option.
On the tech side, any Can-Am three-wheeler equipped with the larger 10.25-inch display now supports the BRP Go! On‑Road Navigation app for Android and iOS. The application provides turn-by-turn directions, route planning and rider tracking among its features.
