While supersports-class machines might be a dying breed MV Agusta is still championing the cause and has unveiled the new 2017 version of its high-spec F3 RC.2-_TIN8278_675

Just 350 will be made – split between F3 675 RCs and F3 800 RCs – to celebrate the bike’s success in WSS racing.

The F3 675 RC produces 128 hp (94.2 kW) at 14,400rpm and 71 Nm (7.24 kgm) of peak torque at 10,900rpm. However, it’s likely to be the lower-selling bike. The larger-engined but visually-identical F3 800 RC is a more tempting proposition for the road.It gets 148 hp (108.8 kW) at 13,000rpm and 88 Nm (8.97 kgm) of peak torque at 10,600rpm.

The RC gets the firm’s advanced MVICS electronic platform (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System)  which allows the rider to opt for different riding modes and maps, as well as controlling the 8-level traction control system.

The suspension comprises a Sachs mono-shock at the back and Marzocchi front forks, as is the norm on modern MVs.

Race-replica graphics really mark out the F3 R C from run-of-the-mill F3s. Each also comes with an accessory kit including a paddock stand and bike cover, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
