Launched in late 2025, the Suzuki-backed SR75 Off-Road Experience brings guided trail riding to South Wales, a place whose weather is often wet but never dull. The centre aims to introduce riders of varying ability to off-road technique using Suzuki machines and structured instruction.
Leadership and the bikes
The programme is led by Geoff Walker, a trainer with more than three decades of off-road experience. He oversees a team of instructors who focus on patient, practical coaching rather than flashy demonstrations.

Bikes supplied at the centre include the DR‑Z4S and the V‑Strom 800DE. These are showroom-familiar models fitted with additional protection and handling tweaks to improve reliability and rider confidence. Organisers say V‑Strom 1050 machines are expected at the facility soon, though they were not available for the review ride.
How a typical day unfolds
Participants meet at the SR75 headquarters, which overlooks the training area. The day starts with light refreshments and a briefing.
Initial instruction is off the bike. Tutors run through body and foot positioning and explain how posture should change for different ground types.
Once riders have the basics, a warm-up ride lets instructors assess individual technique. From there the group moves into slow-speed drills—figure-eights, clutch and rear-brake practice, and controlled manoeuvring exercises designed to build balance and control.
Group size, pacing and supervision
The centre limits groups to six riders per instructor. That ratio is intended to keep coaching focused and practical. Riders wanting more personalised attention can arrange a one-to-one session.
At no point are attendees sent off unsupervised. Whether practising drills or exploring trails, riders remain under instructor oversight throughout the day.
Terrain and on-site facilities
The training ground is broad and varied. Within minutes you can move from wide gravel fire roads to tight single-track sections, sticky clay hollows and open basins that get muddy in wet weather.

There are also several motocross loops on the property for higher-speed practice. After riding, participants return to a compact base camp with changing rooms and sheltered spaces to dry off or swap kit.
Who will get the most from SR75 — and what it costs
The group format suits beginners and riders returning to dirt who want to rebuild skills and confidence in a controlled setting. Mixed-ability groups mean first-timers receive focused attention on fundamentals.
Experienced enduro riders may prefer a private session, since the mixed groups are not tiered into separate beginner, intermediate or advanced courses.
Price is listed at £300 per person. That covers bike hire, fuel, instruction and light refreshments for the day. Further details and booking information are provided on the centre’s official website.
